Twin Watch

The countdown to the births began this morning at 11am.

At 7pm we still have labor, they broke her water and gave her a bit of pittosin.

For me the waiting game is a new thing.  For grand child 1 and 2, I was birth coach….grand child 3 was distant, and we heard after the fact, with number 4 we didnt know she was in labor, but heard about the birth right after, and with number 5, we heard moments after birth.  This knowing from the time she went in, but not having anything to do but wait…..stinks. I am trying my best not to hover, and having babysitting duties (#5 granddaughter is only 2.5yo) I am occupied, but anxious.

It is shaping up to be a long night.
